THANKSGIVING WEEKEND

THURSDAY
Happy Thanksgiving from our house to yours.
Thanksgiving at Grandma Z's house.

This is our family's greatest blessing this year,
a healthy husband, father, son and brother.
Mike and Mom

The after dinner football crowd!

Carly, Ally and Emma
Peace out, Eric

Of course there was the Trivial Pursuit competition.

FRIDAY
Scrapbook Day
11:00 am to 8:00 pm
All men and babies banned from the house. Thanks, Quinn for babysitting Emma. Thanks Bryan for staying in the garage and working on all Manja's projects!!

Okay, Bryan, Jeff and Taylor had some fun too, they went shooting with the Young Men. Rifles, pistols and an AK-47. Bang!!

SATURDAY:
Since all the girls were together for the weekend,
we had to go see New Moon.

Here's the run down:
Team Jacob: Manja, Anne (only in the movie)
and Laura
Team Edward: Carly, Anne (only in the books)

Then of course there was THE GAME!!
Sorry Mike and Quinn, maybe next year!

Then it was the parade:
The Ogden High marching band was marching
in the Ogden Christmas parade, so we went
to support Taylor, the best melaphone player ever!!

And since we had had such a slow, quiet
weekend, we thought we'd have
45 high school kids over for a little fun!!
After the Christmas parade, the marching
band all came over to our home for dinner and
goofin' off! Hey, they're band nerds,
how much trouble can they be??

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Happy Birthday Emma - TWO YEARS OLD!
Happy Birthday Bryan/Grandpa - TWO plus FIFTY YEARS OLD.

Sophie loves birthdays - messy little people come to
dinner and share with her!

Grandpa has a 50 year head start on Emma.
And yes, there are three toppings on this cake for
all the different picky eaters!!!
Coconut with walnuts
Coconut without walnuts
Cream cheese with no coconut or walnuts.

Emma devoured TWO cupcakes!
But hey, calories are free once a year on your birthday!

Grandpa got a new barbecue grill for his birthday,
Emma got the box!!!

WE'RE STILL HERE!

It's been a while since we've checked in here at the old Bibber Blog. I guess that's because we're all just plugging along, settled into our routine, with nothing much to report. We all survived Marching Band Season - including a two day trip to St. George for the Red Rocks festival at Dixie College. Bryan and I went along to tow one of the band trailers and to help with dinner for the students. It was a great little get away - especially the warm weather.

The students all left late Friday night and came home, but Bryan and I stayed overnight with his parents and visited with them. On Saturday morning we went for a nice ride on our bikes - gotta love all the great bike trails in the St. George area!!

The snowfall this weekend was great fun -- we got about 4 to 5 inches here at our home. With the snow falling down (or at times flying horizontal) on Saturday morning, Manja put on the Christmas music, lit the Christmas tree candle and held her own little pep rally for Christmas.

But enough of that, bring on the Thanksgiving turkey first!

ROADSHOW

Our stake roadshows were a sensational success!!! Here are a couple of pics from our ward. The story was about a window washer who didn't want to work. The rest of cast came in to teach her how important work is. Every ward had to include this quote from President Monson: "Work will win when wishy washy wishing won't." Tayor is one of the "Village People" who sang "WORK" instead of YMCA. The scenery were store front windows with mannequins that kept changing.
