Welcome to Wildcat Country!!!

The Van Bibbers have become Weber State University basketball fans. Part of our Christmas included season tickets to the men's BB games and we are having a blast! Manja admits that she wasn't thrilled about the idea, but she's been converted!!! We're having a great time attending the games together and cheering on our team. Now we don't mean to brag, but this is our first season as ticket holders - and Weber State is #1 in the Big Sky Conference right now -- coincidence or fate??? You decide. With fans like this, can the Wildcats fail??

9:00 am - Just returned from helping Anne and Taylor put up flags for Martin Luther King Day. It is beautiful outside, 5 inches so far. I just couldnt' resist taking a picture of the RED WHITE AND BLUE with the pure white snow. - Manja

For our out of town viewers, here's an update on the graduate school pursuits of Hannah and Daniel. Hannah has been accepted to both Indiana University and Ohio State's dental programs. She definitely has a spot at both schools. Now the pressure is on for Daniel.

Daniel recently interviewed at Indiana, West Virginia and Wisconsin (all in three days) for medical school. They will, of course, hope for his acceptance into the Indiana program, but he will also pursue Ohio State. Interviewing at West Virginia went well and they seemed interested in him. Because Hannah didn't get an interview with West Virginia, she will contact them and pursue that school also.

Here at our house we're rooting for West Virginia because it is so close to the east coast and all the great stuff to see there when we visit. Indiana is closer, but what great vacation spots come to mind when you think of Indiana??? Selfishness aside, we just want them to find the best fit for them and have the chance to pursue their dreams!!
