DISNEYLAND (The Happiest Place on Earth)

Disneyland really is the happiest place on earth. It's funny how Anne and I went to Disneyland the same week but for different reasons. Anne went just to have fun, but I went to have fun but also compete. As most of you know, I went to California with the band, orchestra, and the two choirs.

The trip all started with a call time of 5:30 A.M. on Thursday. We got as settled as you can get on a Le Bus and headed for California. 13 hours away California. We only made 3 stops and made it to our hotel just after 8:00P.M..
The next morning we all got up to go to the band competition. So when we get to the competition, we get into a a spot where they couldn't let us out so we had to back up and during the backing up process, we just happen to hit a fire hydrant and as you can guess, WWWHHHHHUUUUSSSSSSHHHHHH.

Then after we got changed we made our way to Disneyland and California. FUN!!!!

After a tiring day at Disneyland, we head back to the hotel at about 1:00A.M. to wake up again in about five hours for the choir competition. Fortunately we did not hit any fire hydrants but we had a bunch of fun and we did really well.

Saturday night after a day at Disneyland and California Adventures, we went to the awards ceremony for the festival, in Disneyland, where we watched the fireworks and met some characters and it was way fun.

The Chamber Choir got First and Silver our all the choirs

The Orchestra got first all over and a Gold Festival Award which invites them to a national festival in New York, Chicago, or San Fransico, or the Chucke Cheese in Provo, Utah. A little joke between the festival and us.

And the Band got first as well

We also received 4 individual awards for solos.

The school received the Festival Supreme Award, which means our school got the highest overall scores over everyone there.

Sunday morning we got up early and drove home, YEAH, but sad :'(

We only stopped three times again but it was exciting when we stopped in Vegas's In and Out Burger, and I don't see what is so special about it.

We stopped for food in California Adventures and we didn't want to eat our refried beans so we combined them and made a work or art!
