Carly finally found a wedding dress - and it was worth the wait!! Carly drove up from Cedar City and Manja, Lauralee and Emma met her in Salt Lake for a day of dress shopping. We visited four dress shops, and of course the very first dress she tried on that day in the very first shop was the one she finally picked!! With less than a month until her bridal pictures, we were all a bit stressed, but she has a lovely dress and it needs only minor alterations.
Of course we can't publish a picture of the dress here because Jeff just might try to sneak a peak. He'll just have to wait!! But ask Manja, she just might share a sneak peak with everyone else!!
While shopping for wedding dresses it is very hard not to notice the darling little dresses for young girls. So, se have all decided that Emma has 6 weeks to learn to walk so we can put her in a cute little bouncy, flouncy dress. Crawling around in a fancy schmancy dress just isn't going to cut it girl!
Okay, we have a reception center, a dress, a photographer and colors, now we move on to our next big challenge - bridesmaids!! Any suggestions about where to look for dresses or cute tops that don't involve ordering and waiting 3 months for shipping???
It really has been fun to help Carly with her plans. We are so proud of you Carly for all you have accomplished thus far and are excited to watch you step into this next adventure!!
