ANOTHER GREAT CHRISTMAS PARTY!

Saturday was the annual Zundel family Christmas party!! My sister Shelly and her family came from Vernal, and my brother with his family and our parents came from Salt Lake. They all made the long, long, long trek to Ogden. We started with some fun at the Weber State Wildcat lanes for bowling and then back to our home for great food and more fun. After dinner, we all joined in for a white elephant gift exchange. Yep, crazy, noisy, messy and tons of fun!!! White elephant exchanges are always good entertainment as they offer a glimpse into our personal lives and all the goofy stuff we hang on to for whatever reasons! (Quinn, thanks for giving up Mombo, and Liz, you still have a brand new toaster from your wedding which was only 18 years ago???)

Cousins Kaylee and Heidi!

Grandma and Grandpa cheer on
the family!!

Some of the "cool" cousins - Ben, Josh and Taylor

Eric, Uncle Mike and Aunt Liz

Aunt Shelly was the first to open "Mombo the Monkey" but
before the night was over, he had changed hands
at least five times. Mombo came from the Lavender
home where Lauralee has tried to send him to the D.I.
numerous times, but Quinn could just not let go.
Fortunately for us, he relented to have Mombo
join the white elephant game since he knew it
would go to a good home.

Bryan received an decorative shelf. Everyone
agreed it would look fabulous in his garage!

Cousin Quinn opened the
Weber State Wildcat Package!
Now he can attend WSU games in style, complete
with boa, megaphone, and wildcat claws!

Cousin Ben opened a brand new toaster!!
He was so excited, but he may just wait
to use it when he goes off to college in three years!
Or he may just have warm english muffins
in his bedroom!!

QUINN received a lovely beauty mask,
some cucumber eye treatment pads and
cute fuzzy socks!. He can't wait to get
home to try out all his new stuff!

My sister, Shelly, also celebrated
her birthday with us!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIS!!

Wow! Three pictures of Grandpa Z. That has got to be some kind of record!
The party looks like so much fun. Hannah and I were sad to miss it, but look forward to seeing everyone soon. Love you all.
